Researched the problem thoroughly, provided information as to why they were doing what they were doing during the appointment, and then discussed the options for solutions at the end. Service is being provided under a New Homeowner Warranty Plan, and I had a different company come out to look at this previously, and they simply didn't want to tackle the job as it was a doozy! These guys - not a problem what so ever! The follow up appointment to get the work done after this extensive diagnosis (they were here for quite some time tracking it all down) was made for 3 business days later! While this review is being done after the diagnostic appointment, I feel confident that my opinions will not change after the actual service to resolve the issue is completed. Highly Recommend."

Review Date: 10/30/15"Another update - got a new laundry room plumbed by Red Cap Plumbing (check them out!) and calledJim and Pete to rewire for a dryer, washer, and some extra plugs. He was there same day ready to work - although I had to push him off till my plumbing was done. We scheduled him for next day and Pete was there first things in the morning. As expected, super professional and clean install! Love these guys - Pete even cleaned up some other wires that had been abandoned in the wall prior to my ownership. Thanks again Jim and Pete! Review Date: 10/7/15"Found CJS through CABA (Carrollwood Area Business Association - shop them first! usecaba.com), as I was prepping to purchase house. My future home had a Federal Pacific panel that needed replacement before my Insurance company would commit to insure the house. I sent Jim some pics of the panel, and got a quote for the repair. Quote was as I expected it to be for the job needing to be done. Then about 20 days later after closing, I called Jim to act on the quote and set up an appointment for the panel replacement. Jim and Pete were in my house the following morning to get the job done.
Got a call shortly after arrival that my interior walls are made of cinder block, and it may be likely that they need to wall mount the panel if they can't easily smash the cinder block (which was not part of the quote - we assumed normal walls when quoting). We agreed that whatever had to be done, had to be done. Needless to say, Jim and Pete went WAY BEYOND the realm of what we hired them for, and broke up enough of the wall to flush mount the panel - saving us from having an ugly wall mounted electrical panel on our living room wall. When I got home to see my new panel and a professional job done, I could not have been happier! My next experience with CJS - A couple weeks go by and my husband and I are trying to replace a couplelight fixtures with ceiling fans - well guess what! We get into our walls and ceiling and find the most jimmy rigged wiring setup done by the previous home owner. Patch wires, and switches to no-where, and all sorts of nightmares. We called Jim again, and Pete was in my house within 2 days rewiring the switches the proper way so that we can appropriately turn on the lights (and future fans) in our house without fear of fires! Even better, the pricing was super fair and the service was fast - he had us all fixed up in a couple hours. We have had nothing but nightmares since buying our house, and Jim and Pete at CJS Electric have been the silver lining in our experience with contractors. I cannot express enough how thankful I am that we found them and how thankful I am that I now have an electrician that I would not hesitate to use in my own home, or recommend out to others.
